Barcelona Set to Play Historic Fixture at Partially Completed Camp Nou on Saturday
The club confirmed their first game will take place at the partially upgraded Camp Nou over the weekend. The club will host the Basque side in the Spanish league over two years since relocating for construction to commence.

The stadium will not be at full capacity though over 45,000 attendees can be present as per the current authorization. Once fully finished, the Camp Nou is due to hold close to 105,000 fans, up from the previous 99,000. Barça announced recent additions comprise an updated entryway for the team along with upgraded changing facilities.

They mentioned approval is being pursued from European football’s governing body for their upcoming Champions League fixture versus the German side next month at the stadium. They have been hosting matches at the Olympic Stadium.
